Ingredients needed:
1 cup Clear Elmer’s Glue
1/4 cup Stay Flo Liquid Starch + 1/4 cup warm water
1-2 drops of food dye
beads, add to hearts desire
Simple recipe:
Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup Sta Flo + 1/4 warm water, let cool down set aside.
Use a large bowl to mix in the glue with food coloring - start with 1-2 drops and add as needed. (The more drops are added, the less the slime will remain translucent AND the more the color will stain your hands).
Slowly add in the starch/water mix to the glue. Mix in throughly, and keep mixing until the slime starts taking shape, about 10 min. Add in the beads one handful at a time.
Blurry but in motion! The slime still needed for a good 10 min before it finds its “form”
We’ve found a new use for old ice cream containers…
We put some in a sandwich ziplock bag to take with us when we are out. We went out to dinner and Lily took some slime with her and played with it until dinner arrived.

Thinking ahead for some gift ideas that the girls and I put together for their teachers at the end of the school year.
It's quite easy and straight forward THOUGH don't let the girls do the superglue/gorilla glue yet...
The girls want to get their valentine's day cards ready for next week, so off we went to Paper Source to get some ideas. Last year we made the cards from scratch but this year, because we all caught seasonal colds, we thought of getting a Valentine's day set to help us along...
Last year Lily and Bella made little hearts with bubble notes.... very cute, simple and 100% handmade.... we attached a lollipop and shared it with classmates....
It was a great project where Lily and Bella worked together. Lily drew the hearts for Bella, who was four back then, and Bella cut them out. They loved doing this together!
Lily made this for her school's science project and we LOVED it!
The kids at school got to pick a project from the Science Buddies website. Lily picked the Art Bot.
We bought all the bits and pieces separately and put it together ourselves... Adult assistance needed but fun!

Love arts and crafts to keep our little fingers busy and getting into the holiday mood.
Since we were traveling and had limited suitcase space, we opted for a ready to assemble kit.
We opted for a paper source wreath kit.
We hung the wreath between two rooms so we made sure to decorate the back as well as the front... it was a big hit!
